elarm works by detecting the early biometric changes during the inflammatory response phase in data collected by wearable devices. It notifies the user if they are likely to be in this presymptomatic highly viral period and became an early warning system for people exposed to COVID-19 during the pandemic. elarm gathers event information added by the user over time and continually adjusts to improve over time. In 83% of cases, it identified people they had COVID-19 2 – 3 days before symptoms appear. Beyond COVID-19, elarm has further potential for monitoring people’s wider health.
